RICHMOND, VA (WRIC) — a woman is going for walks many miles to call attention to breast cancer.
"in case you beat melanoma and you live on, everything else is a cake walk," Paulette Leaphart instructed 8News Reporter Tracey Smith.
100 miles is removed from a cake walk, however for Leaphart, going for walks from Mississippi to Washington D.C. is barely a small a part of her adventure.
"I'm taking lower back what melanoma stole from me," she observed.
A breast cancer survivor herself, she's strolling topless to erase the world's definition of splendor.

Survivors like Sheron Poole have been following Leaphart's story online.

On Tuesday, Leaphart took the time from her stroll to join Poole on the docs to get the outcomes of her most fresh tests. Poole just discovered Tuesday her melanoma is lower back.
