Ice rink turns pink for breast melanoma attention - Sunbury daily item

SUNBURY — Cheryl Delsite has been melanoma-free for 25 years, but she's nonetheless working to assist others to be the same.

Delsite, 54, who works within the Sunbury city Clerk's workplace, worked along with some city parks and exercise employees to arrange the first red on the Rink for Breast melanoma awareness Sunday on the Sunbury formative years community core.

Minium, of Northumberland, noted her husband had breast cancer five years in the past.

SU students Brian D'Agostino, 21, a junior from Gaithersburg, Md., and sophomores Paul Chung, 19, Dresher, Pa., and Kevin McDonald, 20, of Springfield, were there partially to support their Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity brother, Matthew Weiner, who turned into enjoying in the game.
