She stated she inherited a robust institute when she arrived at Pitt "and i hope I made it potent sufficient" to proceed on its direction of progress.
Her departure, she spoke of, is bittersweet.
"I'm so grateful for the chance to work in Pittsburgh, and it's been an important honor and extraordinary pleasure to work with all my colleagues on the institution of Pittsburgh and UPMC," she talked about.
Dr. Davidson has a bachelor's degree from Wellesley college and is a 1979 graduate of the Harvard scientific faculty. She additionally has held positions at Johns Hopkins university in Baltimore.
